Saunas have been used for so many years. Recently new kind of saunas called infrared saunas have been introduced. Most of the people don’t know what actually are they. Saunas can be used to treat health problems like depression, allergies, arthritis and lots more. Even those without any problem can also use this sauna therapy. These saunas clear pores, manage weight, increase blood circulation, relieve stress and relax the muscles. These saunas are sometimes called steam saunas as the people dump hot water over the coals to put some moisture back in the air and increase the air temperature of the room.

The hot air causes occupants to sweat and get rid of bodily toxins and other excess materials. But, traditional saunas work very differently from infrared saunas. These saunas warm your body without the need to warm the air between you and the heat source. Thin carbon plates or sheets are the heating components that are needed in an infrared sauna. The result is that the infrared heaters operate at much lower surface temperatures and are more efficient. They warm the body more evenly and create the heat that penetrates deeper into the skin.

Its concept is same as the traditional steam sauna but the infrared saunas do it better, more effectively and more safely. The lower air temperature in an infrared sauna means that these saunas are more comfortable for the people to sit in for a longer period of time. One main thing about these saunas is that they do not contain the harmful ultra violet rays that are in the sunlight so these are much safer than sunbathing. Saunas come in all kinds of shapes and sizes. Infrared saunas are the new wave of saunas that are working in a whole new way from the conventional steam saunas.
